To clear the path for this cultural shift, Celebrate your Happiness — a hybrid event championing humanity in business — has brought together top business leaders and happiness experts to share ideas on employee well-being.
With 61% of employees burned out at work, and companies with happy employees outperforming the competition by 20%, it’s easy to see why happiness is high on the agenda. Realising that many things are now possible online, hybrid ways of working are likely to grow. This will not only raise efficiency, but will open the door to new questions and challenges surrounding ‘humanity’, mental health, and well-being.
To advocate for these ideas, not only within the workplace, but as an important part of society, Celebrate your Happiness have decided to donate 25% of their ticket revenue to hand-picked charities aligned with the Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being.
The event has teamed up with Kinder to create a United Action: a group of top-performing charities all solving health and well-being issues from different — but effective — vantage points. By donating to multiple charities at once, the Celebrate your Happiness has taken a more holistic approach to giving.
The charities in the Celebrate Your Happiness United Action focus on children, youth, and young professionals. Each one has performed well in our evaluations, and aims to solve root causes, not just fight symptoms. As new generations enter the workforce, they will set the tone for the future workplace. With the right tools, they will be the architects of a new way of thinking about work — one that considers the human factors behind output.
Charities in this United Action include Learning for Well-being, a non-profit working on well-being in children, and Right to Play, which uses the power of play to change lives.
