Kinder Appeals: A new way to donate with maximum impact

The world is burning and the overload of information about all the different problems overwhelms us. The general mistrust in the charity sector amplifies this, resulting in a “freeze” effect!
Kinder was born out of a belief that there is no problem too big for us to tackle together. Since 2017, we have been encouraging global citizens to reconnect with global issues – empowering individuals to be a force for good – and transforming the charitable sector into an open and more effective industry.
Do good, better. Be Kinder.

Introducing Kinder Appeals
Most problems are too big to solve alone. That is why we introduced Appeals. An appeal gives you the possibility to support multiple effective charitable organisations tackling the same problem, with one simple donation.
Don't just donate to a single charity - Donate to the best solutions

Complex problems require comprehensive solutions
Take protecting our oceans for example. Stopping individuals from polluting the oceans alone won’t solve the problem. We also need to tackle industrial fishing, the effects of the plastic industry and change government stances on protecting the biodiversity of oceans. Simply put: we believe your impact becomes considerably higher when you support multiple solutions for the same problem.

We select the very best
Our research team analyses each organisation through our vetting framework. The results are benchmarked depending on their scores on areas like strategy, responsibility, transparency and more. For our appeals, we select the top-performing organisations for each problem an appeal tackles.

Summed up, our main impact areas are:

  • Enabling seamless and effective donations through tech-for-good tools.

  • Informing individuals about organisations that will use their donations and engagement the most effectively.
Do good. better. Be Kinder.
